Ien Nivens is an artist and an educator by training and a seeker by inclination. He grew up in Oklahoma and moved to New England in 1980. He now lives in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts with his wife Michelle and a cat named Barnaby, working as a web and graphic design consultant for artists, writers and musicians.
